Failure analysis of machinery and equipment including; on site investigation, Root cause analysis, responsibility identification etc. 

-          Root cause failure analysis on machinery and equipment including failure site investigation, and determination of contributing factors.

-          Fracture surface evaluation and removal of samples as required for further investigation.

-          Review for material defects, processing defects, fatigue analysis, and catastrophic failures.

-          Identification of responsibility for the failure.

-          Design review of failure for specific applications including modifications to reduce stress risers and improve fatigue life.

-          Development of a plan to repair the failed component and improve its fatigue life.

Examples of failures we have been able to repair are below.

	This is an example of a dragline boom tip crack. I have also provided technical support on several other dragline related repairs including: Tub cracking, Mast crack repairs , rotating structure repairs, Boom Cord and Lattice structure replacement, etc.
Ball mill crack repairs, including controlling critical trunion tolerances, as well as residual stress, and fatigue stress control.
	Hoist, and Drag drum repairs for shovels and draglines.
